SPECIAL SALSA SESSIONS
Intensive,
single-session training to master
the elements of dancing with rhythm and style!
Whether
you’re slightly rhythm-impaired, fully beat-challenged, or brilliantly musical but
missing the inside track on the complexities of Afro-Cuban percussion, even if you are a
beginner in Salsa, the “Dance Rhythm” workshops will fine-tune your ability to
“dance to the music!”
All workshops include training in basic
dance steps, techniques and timing - partner not required.

| Understanding Salsa Music, Rhythm, Phrasing and
Timing. Learn how to listen, find
the right beat in complex, sophisticated rhythms. Learn
to recognize, identify and dance to the sounds and rhythms of the unique Afro-Cuban percussion called
the rhythm section in Salsa! |

Footwork:
Hitting Between the Breaks |

Got Rhythm" |
| This workshop will offer you the syncopations, steps, and style to dance confidently "on clave" during the
breakaways. Footwork that is traditional in Salsa/Mambo reflecting it’s origins. |
