2umbao 2sday #5 began with a cool class covering another "old school" mambo concept: The Courtesy Turn. Slightly difficult in the beginning but most of the 17 dancers in attendance overcame the hook turns and accomplished the little pattern we developed just for the above concept. There were a lot of new faces in the class as well as more that showed up later (at least 20 in all). We can now say, though, that there are now "regulars" to the 2umbao 2sdays and the energy was very high for all. It's great to know that we can draw over 60 people for the night. March is looking good for 2umbao 2sdays and, as you probably guessed, I am very pleased. Many have told me that this is much like the feel of the old St Mark's. What a wonderful feeling it is to hear that! Well, now its time to take a look at some pictures below of the past 2umbao 2sday.
