Talk About Vibes...2umbao 2sday Had The Best Vibe Yet!

What a night! It began with the On2 class relatively on time. That means we started at 8:35pm with 9 people that grew to 18. This month's mambo focus is the "Courtesy Turn" and most everyone got that.

When the dancing began, we had over 40 dancers ready to boogie. The music was fast, slow and in between including a great set of Cuban Salsa. About half a dozen couples erupted into a Casino Rueda and it looked like lots of fun!

There must have been more than 30 people that never came to a 2umbao 2sday before. In fact, we had a nice little contingent of the, now defunct, L.A. Mambo Society alumni in attendance. I was especially honored to hear that they all liked the venue and plan to come back. A BIG THANKS  to Rebecca and Alan for giving them a great review of our weekly 2sday event!

Over 100 people added their energy to the night and the vibe was electric. By midnight, we still had about 40 people hanging out and dancing. We did close a little early (1:00am) but we still had about two dozen people left when the music stopped.

I think and feel very strongly that 2umbao 2sday has become the West Side Mambo happening for salseros!
